The Big Bang Coaching Sessions

With only a few weeks until the first date on the tour we thought we should bring you a bit of info on the amazing coaching sessions that are on offer at The Big Bang Snowboard Show

Three different sessions are run at each date.

If you want to tweak and refine your snowboarding technique then The Snowboard General Riding Technique session is the one for you. Ash Newnes and his crew deliver an informative and fun two hour general riding coaching programme. This session is perfect for all riders from a basic level looking to master the finer techniques of snowboarding, more focused on general riding than freestyle. You’ll be riding with some of the best and most qualified instructor coaches in the country and this gives anyone on the session the unique opportunity to learn new skills and become a better snowboarder.

If freestyle is your thing then Definition Camps have got that covered, even if you’ve never hit a jump or a box fear not. The Definition crew will be at the helm to guide you in the finer techniques of freestyle snowboarding. With kicker, box and rail techniques taught you will be amazed at how far your freestyle riding can come on in just two hours.

New for this season is the Nikita Sista Session. This session gives female riders the unique opportunity to improve their skills and overall technique including box, rail and kicker riding in a fun female friendly atmosphere. Coaching is handled by the Nikita crew of coaches and sponsored riders plus you’ll get a free Nikita goody bag at the end of the session! The Nikita Sista Session should be a big hit so it’s best to book early.

All the coaching session are free to attend, all you need to do is cover your slope time. As sessions fill up fast we strongly recommend pre booking as soon as possible. Full coaching timetables, session info and booking info can be found on the Big Bang website here

Please note all the coaching sessions on offer are suitable for most level of riders but as a requirement you must be able link turns, control your speed, stop and use the tow/drag lifts. If you are unable to do this you will not be able to attend the session. Each session is limited to 20 people.
