Park Life: Snowpark Gastein – From Pole Jam Jibs to Poker Chips

Snowpark Gastein is going “all-in” for the 2016-17 season. You don’t have the perfect poker face quite yet? Now is the time to start working on it! For the very first time “Shred Poker” is taking place and Snowpark Gastein is not going to miss this game. The ace up the snowpark’s sleeve: setup add-ons in the Beginner and Medium Area.

Setup news at Stubnermulde! This winter, the Medium Area will receive a 2 meter (6.6 ft) long Pole Jam with adjustable angles. The Beginner Area will be enlarged by a 4 meter (13 ft) long Sliding Tube, which will jut out from the snow. Park designer Bastian Adam is looking forward to showing off the two newbies in a creative way: “I literally can’t wait for this season to start. I’m definitely looking forward to all the action in the park and I hope we will get some sweet snow conditions. I’m totally positive this winter is going to be epic!”

Shred Poker – Round 1: The best Tricks earn Poker Chips

In the upcoming season 2016/17, your tricks will pay off for real. At Shred Poker on March 26, your skills will be praised with valuable poker chips, tradable into cash and goodies after the session. In advance, the crowd – in that case you guys – will vote for the obstacle that is going to be shredded all day long. The game will be accompanied by rad tunes as well as a yummy and free BBQ.

The well-deserved sauna session after shredding every corner and angle of the park is just about to happen when you get back down to the village. Those of you who like the extra relaxation while chilling can indulge and recover from their epic rides in one of Bad Gastein’s spas. If you prefer to keep the action going, the local après-ski selection will make sure you don’t miss out.
