It is raining so much outside I feel as though I’m on the set of Noah, and my thoughts turn to getting a week or so away this winter in the mountains. We all know how expensive it can be getting out for a couple of holidays during the season, however Rude Chalets have given hope to those with holes in their pockets.
The Rude Crew are taking over the iconic Paradis Club and Hotel into a Rude mountain lodge B&B from £28pp/pn, offering a budget friendly option to one of Europe’s most popular resorts.
Helen Lavender from Rude says “When the Hotel Le Laury and Paradis came back on the market, we knew we had one last chance to save it from a life of beige. Decades of Morzine regulars have spent boogie time on the iconic dance floor and we knew it was destined to be saved by us. We are an innovative and forward thinking concept in alpine accommodation, and as such we have focused on the needs of winter sport enthusiasts…each bed will have ample kit storage, heated boot dryers, two electrical sockets per bed, and a bespoke rail system in the bathrooms to dry socks and gloves over night. There’ll be free wifi and of course, we’ll be right above the most unique apres-ski bar the Alps has ever seen”.
Rude Lodge will open in December 2014 from 28pp/pn inc. fresh towels and linen. www.rudechalets.com
