Ticket To Ride open their Mountain Lodge

Snow and surf specialist Ticket to Ride kicks off the 2016/17 season with the launch of a brand new Mountain Lodge in Meribel, as well as a series of new, shorter trips aimed at keen snowboarders who want to make the most of their valued time on the slopes. Open now, the new 32-bed Mountain Lodge puts visitors in the heart of The Three Valleys – one of the world’s most outstanding ski areas – and on the doorstep of one of the newest and fastest lift systems in the world. From here it’s just one lift to Courchevel and two to Val Thorens or Les Menuires, putting endless runs, powder faces, wide-sweeping slopes and high couloirs within easy reach.

Bringing home comforts to the mountains, at an affordable price, the Ticket to Ride Lodge boasts added extras such as free WiFi, Apple TV and unlimited hot drinks. Guests can also expect to enjoy hearty breakfasts, filling suppers and craft beers with other, like-minded skiers and riders, from just £30 per person per night. Making the most of your mountain time couldn’t be easier, with the Lodge’s dedicated team on hand to help organise everything from airport transfers and lift passes, to torch-lit ski descents and advice on après ski events, not to mention the discounts on ski and board hire which all come as part of the Ticket to Ride Mountain Lodge experience. Well-known for its established training courses and epic adventures worldwide that last up to 15 weeks, Ticket to Ride has turned its expertise to shorter trips, targeting time-short, adrenaline-seeking holidaymakers that crave the seasonaire lifestyle.
Craft Beer & Artisan Coffee! New Partnerships Announced

ttr-mountain-lodge-rooms-2Wake up to freshly ground coffee every morning, thanks to a new partnership with Bristol-based Clifton Coffee Roasterswho will be supplying the lodge with a super-sleek batch brewer to make the most of their in-house-roasted speciality coffees. If it’s good enough for Michelin-starred restaurants and five-star hotels, it’s good enough for us!

Beer supplies at the lodge will come exclusively from London-based artisan brewery Beavertown Beers and Man and Wolf, producers of fine Alpine beers in the Czech Republic. Enjoy them in the bar with a view looking over Saulire Peak and right down the Meribel Valley.

The lodge has a ski and snowboard technical servicing area with facilities for a full service. Ticket to Ride has signed upButta as the exclusive wax provider – an eco-friendly, British brand which supplies handmade wax from a peacock farm in Surrey. We kid you not!

Menu confirmed – Wholesome AND healthy

We’ve all been there – cream-heavy chalet dinners that make you feel more Jabba the Hutt than Jenny Jones. But no more! The Ticket to Ride Mountain Lodge offers wholesome and healthy dishes from around the world, including a porridge bar and the obligatory (perhaps not-so-healthy) afternoon tea, with homemade cakes. Breakfast and dinner come as standard with every room booking.
