We’re pleased to hear that The Oakley Arctic Challenge has launched a female only slopestyle event at this year’s comp, meaning that one of the female riders will be walking away with a prize purse this year.
T.A.C has turned into one of the most prestigious TTR events over the past ten years, with entry criteria stating that only the top 5 TTR rankings from the 9/10 season can compete along with the top 10 TTR rankings after the the Burton European Open, and wildcards chosen by event founder Terje Hakonsen. And guess what, none other than up-and-coming UK-legend-in-the-making Aimee Fuller has been picked out by the hands of GOD himself to compete as a wildcard. Good work Fuller.
Aimee will be competing alongside riders such as Jamie Anderson, Sina Candrian and Kjersti Buaas at the Slopestyle event in Tryvann Vinterpark in Oslo. Winner from the event qualifies directly into the semi’s of The World Snowboarding Championship.
