Sims Snowboards are Back To The Core

Californian skater and surfer Tom Sims built his first snowboard way back in the 60’s and the company he built went on to be one of the top two in the business. As snowboarding grew, Sims sold his brand and retired to live his life in California. Shortly before he died in 2012, Tom bought Sims back and set about relaunching the brand. His wife Hillary is now at the helm and Sims are back as a family business, with a small team under the tagline of ‘Back To The Core’. Sims snowboards will only be available at truly core shops who live and showcase the spirit of snowboarding. This season saw a limited release of Sims snowboards and the 2016/17 will see a full relaunch with four models, including the Blade (an premium, cambered all mountain board), the Juice (A true twin freestyle board with micro camber), the SoFun (a women’s hybrid board) and the Dealer’s Choice (a hybrid board of the men).

With styles and shapes heavily inspired by their heritage, the tech inside the boards has been brought right up to date and they are being built at Never Summer in Colorado, one of the most respective snowboard factories in the world, famous for producing boards of the highest quality. And, just like Never Summer, all Sims snowboards come with a three year warranty.

Sims will be exhibiting and demoing their 2017 line at Spring Break, the end of season product test, shred and party week, which takes place in Kaunertal, Austria from the 30th April to the 6th May. For full details, check here
