Long time Salomon snowboard am rider Max Buri has just been bumped to the pro team…

From Salomon

It is with great pleasure that we welcome Max Buri to the Salomon Global Pro team. Max has been with Salomon since his earliest days on a snowboard and officially joined the roster as an Am a decade ago. Over the last 10 years Max’s riding style has developed into something truly unique, all the while proving his ability to adapt seamlessly and outshine in any terrain. He possesses his own vision of how any given spot should be approached, constantly thinking ‘outside of the box’ which is brilliantly reflected in his video parts throughout the years. This same vision applies to his outlook on pursuing a career in snowboarding and life in general. Max is one of those individuals who seems to excel at whatever he applies himself to—skateboarding, surfing, drawing, and playing guitar. We would add ‘chilling’ to that list, but it’s pretty apparent that “BLURRI” doesn’t put any effort into that.

Max stayed true to his own path, forgoing a promising future in competitive snowboarding to fulfill personal enrichment and aspirations. He’s since found his groove filming with friends and crews like Absinthe and Beyond Medals, achieving a name as a standout Swiss rider. Max runs with the Cozy Bois, an all-time crew that portrays the quintessence of friendship and good times both on and off the snow, keeping us in check as a reminder of why we’re all here. Last year Max landed the cover of Transworld alongside good friend Tor Lundstrom. The ‘dueling methods’ photo was an instant classic and couldn’t be a better depiction of the laid-back, friendship-first-attitude that Max and friends bring to our community.

Max was heavily involved in the development of the graphics of his pro model. He visited the design team in Annecy, defined the graphic directions, typo and colors.

The board is the perfect stick for carving, powder, and loaded with a freestyle mindset.

It fits perfect with Max’s riding style: Quick, agile, Stylish and creative in all terrain.

This unisex board has a mountain of personality for every riding style. Extra width and a tapered directional shape transform ordinary to extraordinary with maximum agility in any snow scenario. Rock Out Camber with Popster Core and Ghost Basalt Stringers play as a reminder that freestyle can happen anywhere.
