WHAT: The first annual Burton ‘High Fives’ snowboarding competition, presented by MINI, is now underway at Snow Park NZ in Wanaka, New Zealand. A live webcast of the slopestyle and halfpipe finals is scheduled to begin August 17(New Zealand Time) on opensnowboarding.com. For viewers, the webcast will include live scoring, live chat and on-demand viewing for those that missed it live.

WHO: Mark McMorris (CAN), Sebastien Toutant (CAN), Danny Davis (USA), Roope Tonteri (FIN), Ryo Aono (JAP), Iouri Podladtchikov (SUI), Stef Zeestraten (NZL), Scott James (AUS), Kelly Clark (USA), Enni Rukajarvi (FIN), Shelly Gotleib (NZL), Hannah Teter (USA), and Queralt Castellet (ESP) are just a few of the top riders competing for a piece of the USD $80,000 prize purse.

The Burton High Fives, presented by MINI is an invite-only global snowboarding competition that combines traditional halfpipe and slopestyle events with off-snow team challenges to create a fun summertime snowboarding event in New Zealand.
