Kitzsteinhorn’s Superpipe will be open to the public from the 4th December

There’s not too many full sized Superpipe’s in Europe every season and none open this early – until Monday that is, when Kitzsteinhorn’s pipe opens to the public! Ver the past few weeks the pipe has been used as a training facility for some of the world’s best riders to get ready for the upcoming contest season, but now you can shred the same terrain!

The Superpipe will be open to the public from 4 December when the Superpipe Training Weeks are over. The 150-metre-long and 6.5-metre-high halfpipe is maintained throughout the winter by Alli Zehetner, one of the world’s leading pipe specialists, who built the halfpipe for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games. The 2-time world champion, X-Games winner and Olympic bronze medallist 2018, Scotty James (AUS), Olympic fifth 2014, David Habluetzel (SUI), and Andre Hoeflich (GER) are among the professionals who have fine-tuned their skills for the contest season here in recent weeks.
