Amplid x Movember

To help increase awareness of men’s health problems among the winter sports fans, ski and snowboard brand Amplid has partnered with Movember to create a limited edition ski and snowboard. Available exclusively from, every cent of profit from the sale of these future-collectables will be donated to Movember, to help the charity continue its invaluable work; developing world-class men’s health initiatives which span awareness and education, research, and living with and beyond prostate or testicular cancer.

In the early 90s, during the peak of CEO Peter Bauer’s professional snowboard career, the four times World Champion’s legendary pony tail was celebrated and often imitated. Today, more than 20 years since his signature hairstyle got the chop, Peter and the team at Amplid are at the cutting-edge of “hair fashion” once again, proudly sporting handlebar moustaches in support of Movember.

The limited Amplid Movember freeride ski and snowboard feature a very special Movember graphic which guarantees kudos in the lift line. Based on the popular and versatile Creamer snowboard and Multiplayer ski, these rarities not only look awesome, they ride hard too.

Speaking about the Movember collab, Peter said:

“At Amplid we’re creating products for young, active men; hopefully together with Movember, we can use our influence to increase the awareness of, and encourage conversation about, health issues such as testicular and prostate cancer among this demographic. We’re hoping that the sale of these skis and snowboards will raise money to fund the proliferation of Movember’s positive message to all corners of the male population.

I’m over the moon that we’ve been able to make this project happen at last, after years of talking about it, and I hope that Amplid fans and Movember aficionados will like the products and support the cause.”
