The first snowfalls across the Alps have stoked the European shred family out for what is to come this winter. The Dachstein glacier opened for it’s autumn season on October 26 and now you are invited to ride the first sessions in this fall season.
Park designer Andi Röck and his crew carefully breathed new freestyle life into the Superpark Dachstein and since opening day on the 26th October, it’s ready to welcome all snowboarders who are following the call of winter and eagerly are waiting to ride the first setup.
And we can tell the crew’s motivation can hardly be restrained. Being asked what he was looking forward the most after this year’s summer break, Andi bursts out in excitement: “Snow! Clearing snow! Building stuff! Shredding and friends, you didn’t see at all or just barely during summer.” The preconditions for more legendary sessions on Dachstein glacier are set – check out the first setup here. Needless to say, this is just the start – the renowned park designer never lacks inspiration for his “D-Stone”: “As a park designer you always have some ideas in the back of your head, just waiting for a chance to be realized.”
